Good girl Tessa starts college with the perfect boyfriend back home until she meets bad boy Hardin who is rude and cruel but Tessa can’t help but fall for him.
Hardin is violent with everyone but Tessa, though he does manhandle her, and she worries about him slapping her. He constantly emotionally abuses her, manipulates her, gaslights her, threatens her, and is extremely jealous. Uses “I love you” to make her forgive him but says he doesn’t love her to hurt her at other points. Tessa slut-shames every female and thinks she’s better because she’s a good, nice girl who doesn’t shave above the knee.
