My book review as a reader, not an analyst
This was a quick read, but it was also quite deep. I could relate to Naomi a lot, both her personality and her relationship with Danny. Danny seemed so perfect in the beginning, as did their relationship. But what started as perfect slowly unraveled as flaws were uncovered. I think this book did a pretty good job showing what mental illness looks like and how it can be hidden. This book truly captured young love and how it feels to be swept up in a first love, as well as the ups and downs of first loves. I was interested in how this book would end, but, at times, it did feel a little slow. But overall it was a good book and had good representation.
