Gwen attends Mythos Academy, a school of myths, magic, and warrior whiz kids. Mean girl Jasmine gets murdered, and Gwen wants to find out why because she is the one who should have died.
The main character calls a girl a “raging slut” despite never actually meeting her. The love interest is swoony even though he has a reputation for signing the mattresses of the girls he sleeps with. Also, Gwen is special and different because she wears hoodies and reads comic books.
